JSC “OPTOELECTRONIC SYSTEMS” PARTICIPATED IN THE CONFERENCE: “MECHANICAL ENGINEERING COMPONENTS FROM COMPACTED GRAPHITE IRON: PROPERTIES, TECHNOLOGY, CONTROL”

JSC “Optoelectronic Systems” took part in the conference: “Mechanical Engineering Components from Compacted Graphite Iron: Properties, Technology, Control”.

The conference was held from October 16 to 19 in the Engineering Center of Kazan Federal University. The conference was organized by the Department of Materials, Technologies and Quality of Naberezhnye Chelny Institute of Kazan Federal University, PJSC “KAMAZ” and LLC “Research Center Modifier”. (Naberezhnye Chelny, the Russian Federation).

The purpose of the conference is to unite the efforts of specialists aimed at solving the problems of manufacturing and expanding the application fields of casts from compacted graphite iron (CGI).

More than 130 people from Russia, Belarus, Norway and Japan took part in the conference.

LLC “SIAMS” (Yekaterinburg, Russia) presented the SIAMS 800 Motorized Analyzer of Microstructure Fragments of Solid Bodies – a new product based on the MI-1 Metallographic Microscope produced by JSC “Optoelectronic Systems”.

JSC “Optoelectronic Systems” together with Anisovich G. Anna, Doctor of Physical and Mathematical sciences, Deputy Head of Metallographic and X-ray Structural Analysis Department of the Physical-Technical Institute of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, presented a report on the topic: “Some Problems of Structure Control of Cast Iron”, in which, among other things, attention was paid to modern metallographic equipment and computer methods for image processing and control.

We would like to express our deep gratitude to LLC “SIAMS” for cooperation and to Anna G. Anisovivh, Deputy Head of Metallographic and X-ray Structural Analysis Department of the Physical-Technical Institute of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, Dr. Sci. (Phys.-Math.).
